O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 21 training summary. I spent my peak training week exploring the mountains near Asheville, NC. A super awesome time was had! Even better yet? It is now taper time for the Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 in less than 3 weeks!
O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 19 training summary. Well, I was supposed to run the 60 mile long Metacomet Trail end-to-end this week. However, for the 2nd year in a row Mother Nature had different plans. The trail received quite a bit a rain the last few days so any attempt to run it in a respectable time was lost. Determined to get some Metacomet miles in, I decided to do a slow 50k. Better than nothing! Time to rest a little bit more before our week-long training running vacation in Asheville, NC!
