O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 29 training was still disappointing, but on the bright side I ran my first double digit run since MMT 100. In fact, I ran 2 double digit runs. My calf is still hurting, but I think it is getting better day by day!

O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 26. The calf is starting to feel a little better, but still starts to hurt after about 6 miles. I kept the mileages low and walked with Falling Angel a lot this week. It is getting close to peak training time for Angeles Crest 100. I will need to make a decision soon as to whether or not I am going to run it based on this calf issue.
O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 27 training. Well, another disappointing week. This calf issue is really starting to piss me off. I have been trying all the usual remedies without much success. I even cut back my mileage significantly. I am hoping these short mileage weeks are letting it recover without setting me back too much.
O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 26 training was a bit disappointing. My body is still basically shut down from the injuries I sustained at MMT 100 2 weeks ago. My ankle is feeling a bit better, but my left calf still hurts to run on.
O’HillyMetaNuttenCrest Week 25 training. Not much training going on this week. Just trying to rest up after last week’s 100 miler. My ankle is still hurting. This is probably the longest it has taken for me to recover from a long run. Bummer.
